No Tablet 2: A Drama

One of my teeth is causing me an obnoxious amount of pain in a way that's going to cause me to be on a lot of pain killers until I can get to the dentist. They kill my focus pretty bad so this might be the only post this week.

Guinea Pig with Gun

Some of you may have seen this before, but I've things have been a little hectic with me moving back in to my apartment and such (especially because my girlfriend, Sarah, is there :3). I may have to change my update schedule to mon-wed-fri. When school starts up it might not be realistic for me to expect to be able to do a post everyday, especially if I want to regularly update Metamorphosis.

Yes, I want a skunk. It's not that farfetched! They used to be popular as pets until there was a rabies scare. For now I will have to be satisfied with my cavies.

Design Camp Moments

And this is why I wish Design Camp could somehow be a year round gig for me. Teaching animation and hanging out with really bright and talented kids is just incredible. Maybe I will be a high-school art teacher or something. Or at some point maybe post a Craigslist add for portfolio consulting or something. 

Stages of Insomnia (also news!)

I have made a the decision to stop dicking around already. I'm gonna'  put real effort into regular updates. My current goal is to spend one hour doing an Awkward Turtle daily (Monday through Friday).  They may look a bit rough at first, because an hour really isn't much in the grand scheme of things. However, I believe I will get used to this pacing over time. You can expect at the very least a doodle of a cute animal if you choose to check in daily.

Guinea pigs have built a nest in my brain. They are all I have thought about for the past week almost. Seriously. I'm getting two girls at some point over the summer. I will rescue the piggies! And Ima buy them a big 2x4 C&C cage and hand make them fleece cozies and pick them dandelion greens and clovers and and AND LOVE THEM FOREVER. 

Cupcakes. Give them to me. NOW.

I have no idea what the f**k prompted me to do this. I really don't. The crappiness is intentional.

Dreams Are Weird

So I had a dream about rescuing animals from a genetic engineering lab. Things like a half beetle, half possum that could morph its appearance in a chameleon-y sort of way, a really big jelly fish that could function on land and of course, the jelly frog. We got a lot of them out but someone put jelly frog in a water fountain and he melted. This made me fall to my knees and cry in the dream (which was after the cat from the movie version of Coraline was an a-hole to me about how it was all my fault).

So, that's how I'm feeling about life in general right now. Ararara.

New Comic

Ok, so I know I haven't been around much lately... But, I have a good reason! I finally am making a serious commitment to my epic-adventure comic, Metamorphosis. The Future is Scary

So, I listen to music to avoid letting it eat me. I wish I knew what I want to be, "when I grow up." Pfft, like that will ever happen. I guess I'll survive regardless of what happens but it's the not knowing that makes me all angsty and crazy.
